Argh. It’s 9am on saturday and what am I doing? Trying to find out why ORACLE decides it doesn’t want to import a table I exported yesterday from the very same database.

*sound of head hitting desk*

Looking forward to later though when Melody and I go to William Ricket’s sanctuary though. It’s so lovely and green there, and melody says it reminds her of back home… soon to become my home.

According to passports.gov.au my passport has been approved! Couple that with a plane ticket and that is fantastic news!

I’m so happy!

It seems my contract has been extended until December 22nd, 2006. While this is only just a month past my original, there is scope for me to come in during Jan before we fly to Canada. Yay =D

Pretty simple today. The goal is to get passport application in, and maybe secure a job interview. Yay!

I feel about a million different types of amazing right now…

I am booked on the same flight as Melody! It’s booked. It’s happening! I am so thrillled that in three months time, both of us will touch down at Vancouver airport.

*dances*

Melody is resting at the moment and I’m cooking dinner. I feel so happy that we were able to get the ticket. God I love her so much.

Just been musing and thinking about stuff. I took my website down a while back because I didn’t really consider it to be me, then kinda freaked out when I realized I might have lost my cartoons.

I used to do silly little topical cartoons, and when I was younger I wanted to write a comic strip of sorts. Every so often I revisit the idea and then out it to bed. Anyway it got me to thinking about the things I haven’t done that I used to be good at.

Anyway, I salvaged some of them, and removed my old name (yecch!), since its been a while since I cartooned. I think I’ll add it to my list of things to revisit some time soon. I was almost thinking about do some satirical stuff either about current affairs or simply my work life which is a rich source of amusement – and if it helps me laugh at my job then that’s a wonderful bonus.

On the job front I’m still waiting to find out if I have one in two weeks time. Ah, the joys of contract renewal…
